Brüssel. (wot) Wie eng die Verflechtungen zwischen den Institutionen der Europäischen Union und Interessen der Industrie in der EU-Hauptstadt oft sind, zeigt ein neuer Report der Transparenzplattform Alter-EU, der heute, Donnerstag, vorgestellt werden soll. Dabei geht es um das sogenannte Drehtür-Phänomen: Ranghohe EU-Bedienstete wechseln von ihren Jobs in den EU-Institutionen in die Privatwirtschaft und lobbyieren nachher die ehemaligen Kollegen. Massive Interessenkonflikte und unlautere Einflussnahme auf Gesetzgebungsprojekte in der EU drohten als Folge der laschen Handhabung der Angelegenheit durch die EU-Kommission, warnt Vicky Cann von der Transparenz-NGO Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO).
