Im Gegenteil, oft genug wird den Europaabgeordneten in Brüssel und Straßburg vorgeworfen, auf dem Planeten EU zu leben, weit ab vom Wahlkreis und den Problemen der Bürger zu Hause. Es kommt darauf an, wie sehr die Politiker ihre Verantwortung als Bürgervertreter ernst nehmen. Keiner wird nur für seine bloße physische Anwesenheit bezahlt. Seine Kopfarbeit zählt - im besten Wissen und Gewissen für seine Wähler.
