The General Court of the EU has annuled the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) refusal to disclose data from industry-owned scientific studies on the toxicity of glyphosate. The ruling provides a straightforward legal guideline for future disclosure requests: Names and signatures of individuals aside, studies must be disclosed in their entirety.

Fresh opposition has been voiced against a highly controversial EU policy negotiation overseen by the new Romanian EU Presidency in the coming weeks: 160 mayors, parties, trade unions and NGOs, including Corporate Europe Observatory, today wrote to the Presidency to underline their strong concerns about the ‘Services Notification Procedure’.
