Administering blocks

The website is divided in regions you can  see where regions are locatd by clicking Demonstrate block regions (CEO7 theme).

In these regions blocks are displayed. On the blocks page you can move blocks from one region to another or to 'Disabled' at the bottom. Disabled means it will not appear in any page on the website.

Blocks can be configured by clicking Configure next to the block  or on the website you also have contectual link 'edit block' when you hover right top of a block.

You can set:

• title: use if you don't want a title to appear
• block description is waht you will see on the blocks page
• region settings you can set the region where you want the block to appear separately for each theme (should pick the default normally)
• visibility: on which pages should the block appear (or not), on which content types, for which users....

Some blocks are only blocks an contain content like it were a node (for instance banner blocks), some are provided by another module and can not be edited except for display configuration (where, when, for whom).
